Engraved frontispiece & one folding plate - illustration of sinking ship. Yellow eps a little browned. Some light foxing on half-title, otherwise text clean. Binding sound. Bound in blue cloth boards of the Hakluyt Society with gilt lettering on spine. Gilt vignette of the sailing ship 'Victoria' on front cover. Blindstamp decoration on boards. Boards and spine lightly faded. Overall condition VG to VG+. A rare book.
